What determines success?
Lets do a simple test/ experiment...
First, let's equate the letters to a number.
E.g. A = 1
B = 2... so on and so forth, till Z = 26.
Then, let's score each word and see how much it is upon 100 (Max), just like any other exam.
Is it DILIGENCE?
4+9+12+9+7+5+14+3+5 = 68/100
Nope.
Is it COURAGE?
3+15+21+18+1+7+5 = 70/100
That's an A... but its not.
Is it LUCK?
12+21+4+11 = 48/100
No way.
Then what is it?
A-T-T-I-T-U-D-E.
1+20+20+9+20+21+4+5 = 100/100
Full marks!! so we all know that it boils down to our attitude isn't it...
C'mon VJC ARC! Let's beat the rest. Its gonna be hard. True, but we have to slowly work to it.
Set new targets for urself for the next shoot.
cheers,
Joshua C.

Hey pistolers!
Here's something to help you. I sent it thru the MSN groups before... but I'm probably right that not all of you actually read it. Right?
Anyway, i really found this good. I'm starting on the training regime now. Take a look. I hope it really applies to you as it did to me.

This week is the one where the IP2 students finish all their outdoor activities and return to the classrooms for work.
Hence, the real training starts this week.
Please come down for training 4 times a week, as what Joshua has mentioned so many million times. I sincerely apologise to everyone from VJC Air Rifle Club if I am not doing so, because I have 3rd language lessons at Bishan for 2 days every week for the rest of the year, but I will do my best to commit my service to the club in any way I can during my free time.
Also, please decide if you are going for the monthly shoot for the month of January. Registration of names are to be confirmed at a later date.
Compulsory PT session this Wednesday, 17 January 2007, at 4pm. Do come down.
One club, one voice. Game on, people.
Till next time,
Shengy
