Interhouse Shoot 2008
Hi all, the interhouse shoot duties have been prepared, and are all here now!
As a air rifle club member, please do your part for the club.
Louise and team has provided the basic information you all should know. It is all listed below.
Please go down during your allocated timings and listen to the assigned chief range officer for the day for further instructions. Attendance will be taken as well, for those present on their respective day's duties.
Effort and time has been put into the organising of the event, so please give your full support to making it a success =) Get people to join! Help out on the day itself!

Please report at 3.30pm in the range punctually for your range official duty. Please inform the I/Cs (Louise, Ryan, Ruiting and Clarence) before hand if you are unable to come down. Thank you.
There will be a lecture briefing for 20 min from 4.00 to 4.20pm for all participants of details 1, 2 and 3 on that day. Please discuss the contents of the lecture briefing with the lecturer in charge in your different combination of groups for that day and refer to us for a check once you are done.
Things to include in your briefing:
>cocking of weapons, loading of bullets and safety precautions
>two modes of firing (applies to only pistol)
>shooting techniques like sight alignment, first and second pressures, point of trigger and standing position
>sighting
>demonstration done in detail by range officials before the commencement of the competition (1 range official to 2 shooters)
*both pistol and rifle shooters will attend different lectures
The details are as follows:
Detail 1
Preparation time: 4.30 to 4.40pm
Sighting time: 4.40 to 4.55pm
Competition time: 4.55 to 5.25pm
Detail 2
Preparation time: 5.30 to 5.40pm
Sighting time: 5.40 to 5.55pm
Competition time: 5.55 to 6.25pm
Detail 3
Preparation time: 6.30 to 6.40pm
Sighting time: 6.40 to 6.55pm
Competition time: 6.55 to 7.25pm
There should however be at least 10 range officials a day. Your roles will be allocated by the Chief Range Official on that day itself.
